Flowmaster Exhaust for 1967-1970 Mustangs
Flowmaster just released two exhaust systems for the 1967-1970 Mustang. Both kits are designed for Mustang V8s equipped with full length headers. The Flowmaster 17281 has been engineered for Mustangs with rear valance cutouts, exiting at the factory valance location with a pair of 3″ rolled edge Flowmaster embossed stainless tips. Exhaust system Flowmaster 17282 offers a virtually identical exhaust system built for cars without rear valance cutout, with tailpipes, not tips, exiting at the stock location. Both systems feature Flowmasters famous Super 44 mufflers that are tuned for classic Flowmaster American Thunder sound and improved exhaust gas flow.

Energy Suspension has just released a new, innovative rear upper control arm bushing set for the 2005-2006 Ford Mustang. All of Energy’s control arm bushings are full-floating and non-binding, which is especially important when ride height is altered or greater suspension load is required. Most are pre-lubricated. This is important for both lowered and raised vehicles that have had drastic suspension geometry modifications.
Energy’s HYPER-FLEX performance polyurethane control arm bushings do not rot or deteriorate from oils or atmospheric conditions such as ozone, smog, road salt, chemicals, and other corrosives. They will not deteriorate in a few short years and cause that mushy, uncertain steering response that their rubber O.E.M. counterparts often do. Most sets come with zinc plated outer metal shells. Lakewood 20105 Asjustable Rear Lowering Control Arms For 2005-2006 Ford Mustangs

Lakewood Industries has designed a new set of adjustable lower control arms specifically for the 2005 Ford Mustang. They replace the stock factory control arms which can twist when adding horsepower. Lakewood reports that this upgrade is a must for anyone wanting to put the power to the pavement! They feature an attractive black powder-coated finish, which make them rust and corrosion resistant, and they prevent wheel-hop and help keep the tires planted firmly on the ground. They are also fully adjustable “on-the-car.” Easily adjusted by hand, they make for quick and easy pinion angle adjustments to dial in your suspension. The grease fittings are also easy to reach so you can keep the control arms lubricated and working smoothly. They are made with high-strength steel to handle all of the performance you can put to the road and they will also reduce noise and vibration because of their polyurethane brushings, which absorb shock. Lakewood confirms, however, that they are still stiff enough for racing!

Mustang GT Full Length Headers from Flowtech
For the first time Flowtech is offering a high-performance, full length header for the 2005-06 Mustang GT V8. They feature near equal length primary tubes, tight tuck slip fit collectors, and all factory emissions connection hook-ups. These headers have been optimized for off-road and racing use, yet they function equally well in street applications. Designed for a simple install, they go in easily from the bottom and require un-hooking the steering column shaft from the coupler, which Flowtech estimates to be a 5 minute job. While all emissions connections are intact, Flowtech recommends an O2 simulator to be used with these headers. Available in two finish options; heat resistant black, or Flowtech’s unique Thermal Barrier coating.

Centerforce introduced their SFI Approved 11” DFX clutch assembly for the 1999 to 2004 Ford Mustangs with aftermarket 26 Spline Input Shafts. DFX is Centerforce’s latest series of extreme performance clutches designed as a direct bolt in for perfect fit and function. DFX offers excellent performance, not only with holding-capacity and strength, but also provides some of the best drivability from a race-inspired clutch. All DFX performance clutch systems utilize a patented ball bearing design for light pedal and quick release, nodular iron pressure plate rings and reinforcements designed to help prevent drive strap breakage and safety. The Paddle or button style disc has been through constant testing of different friction materials and hub designs to bring the best possible combination available to you. Centerforce 01148075 is an 11 inch clutch assembly for vehicles using a 1-1/8”-26 spline transmission.
