K&N Engineering has released an AirCharger Air Intake System (K&N 63-3063) for the 2007 GMC Yukon XL 2500 6.0L V8 engine and the 2007 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 6.0L V8 engine.

“These are big cars with 6 liter engines,” said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. “We wanted to build an intake kit that helps this engine with additional horsepower. Our dynamometer testing shows a horse power gain of 11.62 @ 5075 RPM.”

K&N’s 63-3063 rotationally molded polyethylene intake kit uses a large chrome top K&N Air Filter (K&N RF-1042). “Our K&N Air Intake System replaces the restrictive stock air filter. The included heat shield isolates the filter element from the heat of the engine,” said Heck. “This results in cooler air going into the engine resulting in more power.”

It takes less than 90 minutes to install most K&N air intakes with simple hand tools. K&N air intakes come with the famous K&N Million Mile Warranty.

The Ford F150 is the go-to choice for many consumers. For business or commercial needs, the popular truck is a reliable workhorse. Others see it as pickup that can handle every day driving as easily as it tows and hauls. In fact, the F-150 has been one of the most popular vehicles sold in the United States for nearly every year of the past three decades.

K&N Engineering has developed a 63-Series AirCharger Air Intake System (63-2572) for the 2005 and 2006 Ford F150 4.2 liter V6 engine. K&N dynamometer tests show a horsepower gain of 7.41 @ 4106 rpm.

“The K&N AirCharger Intake System replaces the factory intake tube and air box,” said K&N Performance Kit Manger Bert Heck.  “We use an aerodynamic tube and heat shield with an over-sized K&N Air Filter.  Our Air Intake System is easy to mount because we used available factory mounting points.  The large K&N air filter and the tube’s aerodynamic design contributed heavily to the 7.41 horsepower gain.”

The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 that served as the Daytona 500 pace car is mechanically identical to those available at dealerships. It is also the fastest vehicle ever offered by Chevrolet and General Motors. Drivers can go from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds with its 7.0 liter all aluminum racing inspired 505 horsepower engine. The Corvette’s top speed is 198 mph.

K&N Engineering, Inc. developed a 63 Series Air Charger Intake System (63-3060) for the 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 7.0 liter V8 engine.

K&N dynamometer tests show a horsepower gain of 27.22 horsepower @ 5600 RPM on this super car. A Z06 is the closest experience many will have to the experience of sitting in a race car. The 63-3060’s aerodynamically engineered tube allows for more air to flow into the engine.

“The design of the K&N Air Charger Intake System had to meet and exceed the demands of a motor that makes 500 horsepower,” said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. “In order to do this the K&N Air Filter included in this intake system is made from carbon fiber and very large. We also put an air foil in the large intake tube to provide extra strength and to help streamline the incoming air once it passes through the K&N Air Filter. Our K&N Air Intake System provides less restriction which results in more power.”

Ford’s F-250 Super Duty pickup trucks are built on a separate platform from the light-duty F-150. The larger pickup trucks are typically the vehicle of choice for heavy-duty hauling and towing. K&N Engineering, Inc. has made a 63 Series Air Intake System (K&N 63-2570) for the 2005, 2006 Ford F250 Super Duty 5.4 liter V8 engine. K&N dyno test show a horsepower gain of 24.48 @ 4387 RPM.

“The factory intake tube and factory air box were restrictive,” said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. “We gained so much horsepower by removing the stock intake tube and replacing it with the K&N custom engineered air intake tube along with relocating the mass air sensor.”

K&N 63-2570’s rotationally molded polyethylene Air Intake System uses a large 9 inch tall chrome topped K&N Universal Air Filter (K&N RC-5046). The air intake replaces the restrictive stock air filter as the heat shield isolates the filter element from the heat of the engine. This results with cooler air going into the engine.

Since its introduction in 1983, the Ford Ranger has been one of the best selling compact pickups in America.
