Lakewood’s New 20575 Aluminum Snubber Spacers
Lakewood has released their new aluminum spacers that will install under all snubbers for every make of snubber-style traction bars. These spacers were designed to raise the height of the contact point for quicker set up and improved traction response time. They install tightly against the leaf spring to vastly improve traction and the useful life of your snubbers by spreading the transfer of weight to avoid snubber cracking and splitting from hard launches.
These aluminum snubbers can also be used to pre-load the suspension, and will fit all traction bars from any company that uses bolt-on snubbers with a 3/8” mounting stud on the end of the traction bar.

Rocker Arm Geometry
If you’re wanting to get the most from your valvetrain, you’ll need to look at your rocker arm geometry (Stud Mount Rockers). When fine tuning your valvetrain, look for a pushrod length that leaves the roller tip of the rocker towards the intake side of the valve tip (NOT dead center of the valve) when the valve is closed. You will see that the pushrod side of the rocker will likely have to drop down, and the roller tip will then pull back toward the intake side. This can be accomplished with shorter length push rods, and will also increase power because the valve will be opening quicker. This will also leave the highest spring pressure load occurring with the rocker tip at the center of the valve at full lift, not off towards the exhaust side. Just be careful not to come in contact with the top of the retainer and the underside of the rocker arms when setting up this geometry.

Weiand 8124 Ford Action Plus™ Manifold For Small Block Fords
Weiand is pround to introduce their new Action Plus™ manifold for the small block Ford. Weiand has designed these manifolds with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to generate maximum torque and horsepower in today’s more efficient engines. Finding additional horsepower is no easy task, and that’s why engineers have carefully designed the runner package and plenum to ensure the air/fuel ratio in each cylinder is consistent. With this manifold, poor distribution is corrected and additional horsepower is gained in the rich, lean cylinders.
The Ford Action Plus™ builds maximum torque for street performance engines and provides exhaust crossover for improved street driving. It is available in satin, polished, and Everbright™ finishes, and is fully machined for a perfect fit.
