Flowmaster has introduced a bolt-on American Thunder® system for the 1999-2006 Chevy/GMC half-ton trucks with the 119-inch wheelbase. This redesigned kit will supersede earlier Force II® systems offered by the company. Its new design offers the option of side or rear exit in one package, and the tailpipes have been updated for a better fit on 2006 trucks. Engineers at Flowmaster have redesigned the left-side tailpipe as a two-piece unit so it will clear the brake line bracket on top of the rear-end housing. Two embossed rolled edge 3.00-inch stainless tips are also included.

Since its introduction in 1983, the Ford Ranger has been one of the best selling compact pickups in America. With a reputation of being the Ford Tough “little brother” of the F-150, the Ranger is offered with a wide variety of power plants for 2005-2007. At the top of that list is the 4.0-liter V6 rated at 207 horsepower and 238lb/ft of torque. While the 4.0-liter V6 performs well, AIRAID Filter Company has managed to unleash additional horsepower, torque and throttle response from the Ranger’s 4.0-liter V6 with the development of an all-new Quick Fit Intake System. AIRAID’s easy-to-install system for the 05-07 Ranger takes full advantage of the cool outside air by utilizing the lower portion of the stock air box to significantly enhance air flow to the engine, generating more horsepower and torque. The new intake also provides superior filtration at No Extra Cost since it uses a washable and reusable AIRAID Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® Technology which filters out dirt down to 2 microns. On the dyno, the Ford Ranger Air Intake System generated an additional 6 rear-wheel horsepower and 10 lb/ft of torque.
