Reducing the heat under your hood is critical to maximize your engine’s performance, and so is cooling the intake air which creates a denser air charge. To help you accomplish this, Design Engineering, Inc (DEI), has introduced Cool Cover™, which is designed to prevent air tubes from becoming heat sinks. The Air Tube Cover can be installed or removed in seconds without the use of tools by a full-length hook & loop closure system. It is made of heat treated fiberglass with a reflective coating which will reflect heat away from the air tube and allow cooler air to flow into the intake for a denser air/fuel charge. According to DEI, its “Easy ON for GO, Easy OFF for SHOW!” The air tube cover is available in a 36″ long by 14″ wide design that can easily be cut to size for smaller applications.

With the announcement of their dual-quad carb and manifold kits, Edelbrock is making it a snap to get dual-quad performance in one easy kit. These kits include nearly everything you need to install dual-quads on your small-block Chevy with conventional or Vortec-style heads.
